Along the Seashore
On this still, summer's eve,
we'll stroll along the seashore
as sand grains seep between our toes.
The wind whispers to us an old sailor's folklore
as you entwine your fingers with mine.
The sky stares down at us,
its face tainted
with shimmering stardust,
illuminating the currents below.
When I meet your eyes,
I've noticed how they glow.
Even though I can't make out
your facial features from the dark,
I can still sense your flickering smile.
